How to Add a Watch Face on Apple Watch – Guide
If you want to change an icon on your watch face that launches an app on your watch – what Apple calls “complications” – tap, scroll and select the relevant menu item. Work from the list of available positions, tap the positions you want to change and select the complication you want to use from the scrolling list. If you got it right, go to the bottom of the screen and tap on “Set as current watch face”. You can swap and customize watch faces with any version of watchOS, but you’ll need watchOS 8 or later (and iOS 15 or later on your iPhone) to take advantage of the latest additions. To ensure you have the latest version of watchOS, open the Watch app on your iPhone and tap General > Software Update. If the application says your software is up by the time, you’re good to go. If not, your phone will download the latest update and apply it to your watch. Depending on where you are and what you’re doing, you may want to switch faces throughout the day. For example, you can use the California clock face when working, jump to the info graphic clock to see temperature and other information when outdoors, then switch to the modular clock face in the final of the day to check your heart rate and access the Breathe app.
