No files or images can be uploaded.
Another nice little one feature I liked the previous and next options for switching between emails. This way, you can reply to emails consecutively without going back to the main menu.
You will also be given the option to open the email in Gmail.
Customization
You can do tons of customization with the options available. Click the three-dot menu and select Options. You will be taken to a new tab page. All settings are well organized and as I said, you can adjust a lot. One thing I want to note is the settings for ACCOUNTS / LABELS. You can set a specific notification sound for a specific label. You also get the voice input settings while answering (it’s in beta). Each setting is well explained and can be easily changed.
Some institutions require a contribution account. You must donate an amount to unlock these settings.
Hides
It’s all about the visuals. If you have the Gmail app on your mobile then this extension will give you the same material design feeling. Speaking of the feel, it has two layouts for you to use. The first is the default checker plus theme and the other is the native Gmail design. You may want to stick with the default theme, but the Gmail design allows access to categories that are more convenient.
There is also an option to change the skin of the extension. But to apply these skins, you need a contribution account. Here you can enable and disable various elements of the user interface. And three themes are available: Dark, Green and Newspaper.

2. A lightweight alternative

It only does one thing and it does it perfectly. Every time a new email arrives, you will receive a notification with a card showing the information. Clicking on the card will take you to Gmail. You cannot open or reply to emails from the extension like the above extension. It just notifies you. That’s all. But the great thing here is that you are always logged into your Gmail account. So when you click on a card to check the email, your Gmail will open directly without asking for your password. But first you need to configure and add your account credentials.
Add your username and password. You can give the account a name to better identify it. You can also refine your report by adding a specific label. If you have a Google Apps domain, you have an option for that too. Both options are hidden under advanced options.

The extension works fine. One thing I did notice is that there was a delay in the notifications. I enabled both the extensions and multiNotifier displayed the notification after about 6-7 seconds. It also appears that the extension has not been updated in a long time. You cannot rely on the extension for long. But overall, it gets the job done.
What’s the fastest way to access Gmail?
